[ Cloud can smell the fruits and the yoghurt toppings, and fortunately, the scent of Weiss' pheromones isn't all that bad today. Once he's closer, though... well, he'll have to suck it up.

Weiss is seated at the same place they were in the last time, fiddling with her comms bracelet (lbr she's checking out Prismagram), when Cloud comes in. Her hair is down, per usual, and she's in a short tube dress, as what she usually wears during Cordis. At least she doesn't have to worry about a tail... just the feathers on her arms and legs.

She gives him a small wave when she sees him, but doesn't move to get up. ]

I'm glad you don't have your hands full today.

Yeah. [ He gives a light wave with a lift of his hand as he moseys over with a hand resting on the other side of the table. ] Just wrapped up my last order for the day anyway.

He's been working hard since early morning, so he feels like he's earned himself a treat too. As he goes up to order, the owner has gotten used to seeing him around by now. Umm... [ The blond passes a glance back over his shoulder to the Cordis-blessed Schnee in thought. Snack-size? Small? ...nah. ] Both of them medium.

[ It's not like they were that much bigger than the regular size they tended to order. And it's the Cordis moon. He's covering his bases! After paying, he returns to her table with both hands full, delicately swirled at the top with blueberries and strawberries adding some life to her cup. As for Cloud, he tries a mango-flavored froyo with blackberries strewn on top. ]

[ And she would honestly sass a lot more, but now, she has what she wants. She's plenty pleased and she has no complaints. She's even swinging her legs in her seat as she takes her first bite. ]

[ Don't mind her. She'll just pop a strawberry into her mouth after asking. ]

Well...he's either wearing gloves, or neither one were really looking at the back of the others' hands much really.

[ Weiss reaches for his hand with both of hers to look at the seal properly. It's different from hers—a lot fancier-looking, but she's not complaining. She likes that hers ended up looking like her emblem. ]

I swear, if you get into any more trouble with a Servant, and with your Aura, and with your materia, and everything else? [ Her eyes merely narrow as she looks back at him.

[ If Cloud had wolf ears right now, they'd have twitched a little before standing upright to go along with the wide-eyed expression on his face. But he doesn't fight when she takes his hand in both of hers to have a look. From a chancing glance, hers looked like a snowflake. Definitely on brand and- ]

[ What. What! Cloud did nothing wrong! Besides the ... Aura thing. WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE. Sometimes he didn't know whether to be scared of her...or think that her fussing like this was cute. Fortunately for him, he decides not to remark on either possibility. Instead, he lets out a gentle huff, shaking his head as he reassures her. ]

[ ... he keeps eye contact with her. ...lowkey nervous. ~~Anime-esque bead of sweat goes here tbh.~~ ]

[ She lets go of his hand once he responds. It really did worry her before, and she's going to continue to worry for him because he's important. ]

[ Phew. Phew. Okay! Neat. He doesn't want it to be the entire focal point of their day, but...curiosity and all. He takes another spoonful of his mango yoghurt, this time making sure he got a blackberry on top the bite. ]

[ Could just say "whose your Servant?" y'know... Alas! Whether she answers him or not, he listens as eats another bite or two of his treat. ]

[ Weiss blinks curiously, then thinks about her conversation with Charles. Oh— ]

Weiss squeezes the cup she's holding, and a strawberry falls to the table. Oh my god. ]

[ Totally not him, even though she just called him by his first name and all.

With one less strawberry in her cup, she hurriedly eats the rest and then sets the cup down with a plop. She's not seething, nor does she look frustrated, but she's clearly telling Cloud that her mood is all his fault with the pout she's giving him. ]

[ Okay. Now it's his turn to laugh. Usually Cloud's the one on the receiving end of it. Luckily it's not a full-blown laugh. More like a soft chuckle that gets his shoulders shaking a bit at how flustered he's getting her.

By technical standards, he's been a Master far longer than most anyone would be in a regular war. So he's used to it all by now. ...even if he's, by no measure, someone to look to as a role model in the Master department. He would hide his hands almost all the time due to the initially tense bond he formed with her. Something that was outside of their control, and one that left the Rider feeling immense guilt for getting him involved. ]

Sorry. [ He only half means it. Man, she wolfed down the rest of that real quick. No brain freeze? There's not as much left of his either, but he's clearly falling behind. Cloud lightly shrugs. ] But since it's him, I probably woulda found out sooner than later.

[ While Cloud's gone ahead and asked, Weiss doesn't ask anything back. It's none of her business, even though she does want to know. He'll tell her if he wants to, and it's not like she can have a change of tune now after the recent turn of their conversation. ]

[ Just as Cloud leans back in his seat, moments before he thinks to tell her why (and even the odds), she's still holding that pout when she suddenly makes that thought known. Still hungry? That was bigger than what he normally ordered the two of them! ~~There's always that strawberry on the table.~~ For a couple of seconds, he cocks a brow before it clicks. Right, right. Cordis. ]

Ah- [ Hold on a sec, Weiss. He puts his tongue to the roof of his mouth while rubbing a couple fingers on his forehead. That's the look of a man who got hit with brain freeze. ]
